Dr. Shahyahrah B.Israel has a master’s degree in education from the University of the District of Columbia and a Doctorate degree from The School of the Prophets at Jerusalem, Israel and has taught in numerous schools in the United States, Mexico, Ghana and Israel. In addition to developing entire independent school systems, Dr. B. Israel has designed educational programs for a wide range of students, including adults in recovery, high- risk adolescents and pre-schoolers. Dr. Shahyahrah B. Israel was also the founder and director of the award-winning Mini School of Harlem and served as the Minister of Education for the Hebrew Israelite community in Israel for thirteen years. She currently shares her time between Israel and the U.S., continuing to teach and to learn.
